Good news to all HR and Admin personnel. Effective 01st September 2023, LHDN
has made it possible to submit CP22 through MyTax.

In order to submit CP22 online we need to ensure that we have a MyTax “Majikan” or
“Wakil Majikan” account. According to LHDN officials, the “eCP22” feature is only
available to the director under MyTax. However, the director has the ability to
register a representative for the company and delegate the eCP22 feature to them.

Firstly, the director needs to access their MyTax account and click on the “Profile”
icon, once there, click on the option labelled “Permohonan Peranan”. Next, key in
the NRIC number of the representative and upload the supporting documents
needed (copy of NRIC and Surat Wakil). For more details, please refer to the link
below for “User Manual MyTax” page 72 to 77. You are also able to download the
guidance for eCP22 from the last section in the user manual.

As HR or Admin personnel, it is one of our responsibilities to submit the CP22 within
the month to LHDN when there is a new employee in the company. Failure to do so
without reason, upon conviction of an offence, will be liable to a fine of not less
than RM200 and not more than RM20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not
exceeding 6 months or both.
