RBK is a facility provided by PERKESO (SOCSO) that allows contributors who suffer workplace accidents to receive medical treatment without paying upfront at PERKESO panel clinics.
The programme is part of the Employment Injury Scheme under the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 (Act 4), which covers work-related accidents and occupational diseases.
Who is Eligible?
Active PERKESO contributors under the Employment Injury Scheme (Skim Bencana Pekerjaan).
Those who experience an accident at work or while performing official duties, and the incident is officially recognised as a “work disaster” by PERKESO.
RBK specifically applies to workplace accidents only — not all types of injuries or illnesses.
What is Covered?
Emergency treatment at PERKESO’s registered panel clinics, including clinical consultations, check-ups, Xrays, and transfers to hospitals (if required).
The service is cashless — contributors do not need to pay upfront at PERKESO panel clinics.
Digital access is available through the SEHATi application, where contributors can check eligibility, find panel clinics, and make appointments.
How to Use RBK?
For Employees / Contributors
When a workplace accident occurs (make sure it qualifies as a “work disaster”).
Check your eligibility and locate nearby panel clinics via the SEHATi app or PERKESO’s system.
Go directly to a PERKESO panel clinic — no payment is needed (if you go to a non-panel clinic, reimbursement claims may apply).
For Employers
Employers are encouraged to report accidents promptly and refer affected employees to panel clinics immediately to ensure smooth claim and treatment processes.
Important Notes & Limitations!
If the accident is not classified as a “work disaster” (e.g., occurred outside of working hours or during nonwork activities), it will not be eligible under RBK.
The employee must be registered and contributing under the Employment Injury Scheme.
While most basic treatments are covered, certain procedures may have specific limits or conditions depending on the type of injury, location, and clinic policy.
